The Nextion NX8048P050 5-Inch Intelligent Series Resistive HMI Touch Display is a resistive human-machine interface (HMI) touchscreen from the Intelligent series. Please note, it does not come with an enclosure. This product is designed to be used with the Nextion Editor, a complimentary HMI graphical user interface (GUI) development software. This software is compatible with the Basic Series, Discovery Series, Enhanced Series, and Intelligent Series of Nextion.
The Nextion Editor provides a straightforward method for creating an intuitive and superior touch user interface, making it suitable even for novices. It allows the addition of a static image as a background and the definition of functions by components, enabling the creation of a simple GUI in a matter of minutes. The software's easy-to-use drag-and-drop components and straightforward ASCll text-based instructions significantly reduce the workload associated with HMI project development, allowing for rapid and cost-effective project progression.
